Stonewall Veterinary Hospital staff is inviting its canine friends and their families to join them on a walk through Quarry Park in celebration of Animal Health Week. We encouragesadults, children, and their furry friends to dress up in their most ghoulish or cutest costumes to enter its costume contest – prizes will be awarded! Ruffhouse Rowdies and SMART Dogs will perform agility demonstrations. These talented pooches are all rescues and have been re-socialized to be good pet citizens.
The hospital is hosting a silent auction and firing up the BBQ in aid of animals requiring veterinary medical care. The Stonewall Veterinary Hospital has a dedicated in-house fund which it uses to help animals like stray cats and kittens in need of vaccinations, deworming, and feline leukemia virus (FeLV) and feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV) testing – all of which help them find homes.
Pet-related businesses, such as groomers, boarding facilities, product suppliers and trainers, will also be onsite providing information and freebies to attendees. Pet industry representatives from insurance and food companies will also be present.
The Stonewall Veterinary Hospital is inviting all community members to connect with them during a fun, relaxing day in a non-veterinary practice setting. Come out and join the fun!
