Dr. Amanda Brown

Practice Owner, DVM

Hometown: Stonewall

Dr. Brown has been a familiar face around our practice for several years.  She worked here as an associate veterinarian before starting a family. She returns with a great knowledge of veterinary medicine and a strong love for animals.   She shares her home with her family and several cats, guinea pigs, goldfish, hens, and honey bees.

In 2015, Dr. Brown had the opportunity to become a part owner of our practice with Dr. Mander and Dr. Kahlon.  We are very happy to have an owner of our practice that is also an active part of our community.  In addition to practicing veterinary medicine she is a council member on the Manitoba Veterinary Medicine Association board. She also volunteers as the director and coach with the Manitoba Cycling Association Kids of Mud mountain bike club in the South Interlake.

Dr. Brown has a great interest in learning new skills and is currently focusing on fear-free veterinary visits, veterinary ophthalmology and acupuncture. She is passionate about veterinary medicine and loves that our practice has developed to be able to provide our clients and patients with the same knowledge, skill, and medical opportunities that the “big city” offers.
