Associate Veterinarian – Full-time
The Stonewall Veterinary Hospital is looking for a motivated veterinarian to join and complement our already wonderful team. We are a privately owned companion animal hospital located in beautiful Stonewall. We are open from 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM Monday – Saturday, which means there is no on-call! Our spacious clinic features a newly renovated reception area, four exam rooms, a full in-house IDEXX lab, a dedicated diagnostic imaging room including digital X-ray, ultrasound, digital dental X-ray, and a spacious surgical suite. We offer our clients services including wellness and medical appointments, surgical services, and integrative medicine (laser therapy, acupuncture, and herbal medicine).
Stonewall is a rural town that would be ideal for a single professional or a growing family. Stonewall features a growing business district, K–12 schools including French immersion, various recreation opportunities, and an easy 20-minute commute from Winnipeg. The Stonewall Veterinary Hospital is a privately owned, companion animal practice located in Stonewall, Manitoba. We see mostly dogs and cats, and the occasional exotic mammal. We believe in providing gold standard medical care to each and every patient, and are passionate about helping our clients provide their pet with the BEST life possible.
Our spacious clinic features a newly renovated reception area, spacious exam rooms, a full in-house lab equipped with Idexx lab equipment, a dedicated diagnostic imaging room complete with digital X-ray, ultrasound, and digital dental X-ray, and a spacious surgical suite. We offer a range of services to our clients, including wellness and medical appointments, surgical services, nutritional consults, and integrative medicine such as laser therapy, acupuncture, and herbal medicine.
The successful candidate would be able to manage multiple tasks efficiently, have excellent communication skills, and be able to work in both a team environment and independently. Basic knowledge of cornerstone and fear-free, as well as previous clinical experience, are assets, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
The Stonewall Veterinary Hospital is open Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM and Saturday, 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM. There is no on-call, but some Saturdays will be required. We are proud to offer a generous compensation package and flexible schedule. Both full-time and part-time applicants will be considered.
